What Haircut Should You Have?
Do you have the best haircut for your face? Do you question if you should cut your hair or not?
Here are some pointers to think about before your next hair cut.

With each face shape you need to consider what you want to focus on and what to minimize. Nobody's face is perfect, but the right hair style can make it look more symmetrical.
The ideal face shape is oval. So with each shape you are going to try to style your hair to make the illusion that your face shape is oval. Now don't you start thinking "What? My face shape is not PERFECT?!!!"
I'm not saying that. Just stick with me to figure out what face shape you have and what you could do to enhance YOUR beautiful features.
Oval: Forehead may be slightly wider than the chin, and the length of the face is about one and a half times the width.
Like I said this is the most symmetrical face shape so you could really wear your hair in any style. Also you and Kate Middleton have something in common.

Round: Prominent, rounded cheeks with equal width and length of the face.
I LOOOOOOOVE when someone with a round face cuts her hair really short. Look at Ginnifer Goodwin and this sassy short hair! Her sleek and narrow hair actually slims her entire face. If you are not wanting to cut off all your hair, I would stay away from a bob around your chin or fullness around your cheeks. That will just enhance your cheeks.

Square:Prominent jaw and square chin, with forehead and jawline roughly the same width.
Now you want to soften your forehead and cheeks. To do that you can wear a soft bang or even just a fringe around your forehead and down the face. I would style your hair straighter around your jawline. Still stay away from a round bob. Go shorter than your jaw or longer than your jawline to add softness.

Oblong: Often confused for the oval face, though an oblong face will have a longer shape that is not as wide as oval — often with a narrow chin.
You can wear your hair more full on the sides to add volume. Sometimes with this shape your forehead is longer so you could wear a fringe or bang. But If you have your hair just long, flat, and straight it will make your face look long, flat, and straight. Meghan Fox has her hair long but has volume and fullness to enhance her cheeks.

Heart: Wider forehead and cheekbones with a narrow jawline and chin.
I think I have always seen Zooey Deschanel with bangs. Because with her face shape the forehead is the biggest part of her face. To soften that she wears a heavy bang and she made the heavy bang so popular and stylish. I love this look when you have the heart face shape.
Now with the heart shape your jawline is very narrow so any length would work. But try to add some volume to the sides or lower jaw to keep the look balanced.

Diamond: Narrow forehead and jawline with cheekbones at the widest point of the face.
The diamond face can be mixed with the oblong or heart. But if you just focus on softening your forehead and not have the focus on the widest part of your cheek bones then you are good. Your jawline is great for a short, sassy hair cut. Girl, you work it!

Now remember these are just tips to think about. There is no rule to say you have to follow all of these rules. BUT, be careful when you pick a hair style from Pinterest because it might not look the same on you! Don't be too shocked! You probably just have a different face shape and different hair!
You are beautiful and you have amazing things. So work with what you have, not with what someone else has. I love you and I hope this helped you. Tell me in the comments what face shape you are.
